Laboratory Grown DiamondsAn ethical, eco-friendly, and sustainable alternative to natural diamonds |
Lab grown diamonds are more eco-friendly, more sustainable, and less harmful to the environnement than natural diamonds. For example, they produce less than 20% of the Co₂ emissions normally produced by diamonds extracted from the Earth. This does not include other environmental impacts that are avoided, such as ecosystem disruption, destruction of natural habitats, contamination of water sources, acid rock drainage, etc. Choosing a laboratory grown diamond therefore an eco-responsible choice that takes into account the long-term well-being of the environment.
Laboratory grown diamonds are generally around 30% less expensive than naturel diamonds. This makes it a good alternative to have a splendid diamond while saving money. It is therefore also possible to get a larger or better quality diamond with the same budget.

Made from pure carbon, laboratory grown diamonds (sometimes called laboratory created diamonds, man-made diamonds, lab diamonds, synthetic diamonds, artificial diamonds, etc.) are identical to natural diamonds. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds while also having the same refractive index and the same hardness. Laboratory diamonds are indistinguishable from natural diamonds to the naked eye, but they can be identified by checking the tiny laser inscription on the girdle that corresponds to the number on the certificate of authenticity.
Are you worried about buying a "blood diamond" without knowing it? Do you simply prefer a more ethical alternative? Laboratory grown diamonds offer a more ethical alternative to natural diamonds that is guaranteed to be conflict-free. With laboratory grown diamonds, you can have the peace of mind that your diamond has not been used to finance any conflict and that no human beings have been exploited during the mining or polishing process.
